Bio: Pete Forde is a founding partner of Unspace, a Toronto-based software development company. Unspace uses Ruby on Rails to build web and mobile applications for clients including The United Nations, TheScore Sports Network, TAXI and a long list of start-ups. Pete was curator of the RubyFringe and FutureRuby conferences, and currently hosts the long-running monthly Rails Pub Nite event. An avid traveler and occasional touring rock drummer, Pete is passionate about music and film photography. In grade five Pete wrote a program to control a robot so that he could impress a girl. Sadly, this approach failed.
